Fresh back from a club trip up to Capernwray our hearty group of divers who braved the freezing cold and the ice enjoy what will probably be the last trip before Christmas. The group made their way up in the club van (the name Marlin-mobile seems to be catching), sliding on the ice at times but eventually making it to the relative safety of the car park. Despite the heavy frost and ice on the ground the water temperature remained around 8 degrees C and everyone remarked on the great visibility the cold provided. It will take more than a bit of snow to stop our club from diving.
