A few hardy divers started off a long weekend of Stoney Cove trips to continue their training and practice skills.
On Thursday they had a good couple of dives with a temperature of 8 or so degrees at depth, plenty of the smaller fish around but the pike were elusive and waiting for their food to get bigger!!! As you would expect there were not too many people there  which helps to keep the viz good, but still not as good as the previous week, varying around 8-12 meters.

Martin, Rob and Jamie picked the coldest day to visit the cove for their skills practice. A foggy start at -2C it was actually warmer in the water!

Hugh, Kyle, Pete F and Steve P visited Stoney Cove on Monday completing a 3 day extravaganza of diving by MSAC members.
Skills included depth progression for Sport Diver, followed by a cave dive line belaying skills practice to the Wessex in readiness for an upcoming SDC. Not forgetting the obligatory Stanegarth wreck trip.
Viz was good 12-15 M down to the 20M shelf but deteriorating deeper to Zero Viz at 35M. A lovely sunny but cold day.
